Calvary Welcomes Brandon Jordan as Head Women’s Basketball Coach
Calvary University Athletics is pleased to welcome Brandon Jordan back to campus as the university’s new Assistant Athletic Director and Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

A Kansas City native and former Calvary basketball player, Jordan brings years of coaching and player-development experience, along with a passion for using basketball to connect with others and share the gospel. Jordan began his basketball career at Raytown High School in Missouri before continuing to play at Calvary University. After one season with the Warriors, he joined the United States Air Force while continuing his education at Evangel University.

Following his playing career, Jordan began working as a basketball skills trainer throughout the greater Kansas City area. His training experience has included high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. He describes his approach as one that emphasizes the details of the game and the development of players.

Jordan has also built extensive coaching experience in the Kansas City area. He joined the Living The Dream (LTD) Coaching Staff in 2023, where he has enjoyed helping young athletes grow in their skills and character. Through coaching, he seeks to help players develop in faith, confidence, and wisdom. He will continue serving with LTD this fall. Most recently, Jordan served as a freshman head coach at Olathe East High School.

For Jordan, coaching is about more than basketball. He views the game as a platform to build relationships, connect with people, and share the love of Christ. That philosophy aligns closely with Calvary University’s mission of preparing Christians to live and serve in the church and the world according to the biblical worldview.

Calvary University Athletics and Presidents Dr. Teddy Bitner and Chris Williams are excited to welcome Coach Jordan and his family to the Warrior family and look forward to the experience, energy, and Christ-centered perspective he will bring to Calvary.
