Chris Williams Appointed Co-President Alongside Teddy Bitner
Calvary University has announced the appointment of Pastor Chris Williams as Co-President of Calvary University.

Williams will serve alongside Dr. Teddy Bitner as the university enters a new season of leadership, growth, and mission advancement.

Williams will continue serving as Senior Pastor of Fellowship Church in Kansas City and is a two-time graduate of Calvary University.

Together, Williams and Bitner will lead an executive team focused on strengthening Calvary University’s biblical foundation and expanding its impact.

“Chris brings a pastor’s heart, a leader’s vision, and the perspective of a Calvary alumnus,” said Dr. Teddy Bitner. “I am excited about what God has ahead for Calvary University.”

“The best and most exciting days of Calvary University are ahead,” Williams said. “As we prepare for the 2026-2027 academic year, we are focused on building a university that will serve Christ, equip leaders, and impact generations to come.”

In conjunction with the leadership appointment, Calvary University is launching Faith for Generations, a strategic initiative designed to strengthen the university’s future and advance its mission for decades to come.

“What one generation builds, the next generation inherits,” Williams said.

“Faith for Generations is about ensuring truth has a home tomorrow.”

Since 1932, Calvary University has prepared Christians to live and serve in the church and the world according to the biblical worldview. University leaders believe this moment represents an extraordinary opportunity to build upon that legacy.

This fall, Calvary University will welcome 235 students to campus. “Two hundred thirty-five students. Hundreds of callings. One extraordinary opportunity,” Williams said. “As these students arrive on campus, they’re stepping into God’s purpose for their lives.”

University leaders are inviting alumni, churches, donors, and friends to join them in shaping Calvary’s future.

Through God’s provision, we are building what Calvary can become.
