Earn a 2-Year Associate of Arts Degree in a Ministry-Focused Program

The objective of the Associates Degrees at Calvary University is to give students the foundational knowledge and technical information they need to acquire employment or give them the necessary information to further their study in their field or subject of interest. These associate degrees are a great option for anyone who is undecided in their major or is seeking to prepare to go into part or full-time ministry.

Associate of Arts Options

No matter which track you choose, you will take 5 core Bible & Theology courses as part of your degree program: Four courses are preselected, and the fifth you choose from three Theology options.

The Ministry Studies Department provides instruction in the Word of God, the tools necessary for personal study of that Word, the biblical philosophy which provides a solid foundation for living, and the scriptural motivation to put into practice scriptural standards and precepts.

Associate’s Degree Completion Requirements
  • Number of hours: 66
  • Minimum GPA: 2.0
  • In order to graduate and participate in Commencement, an Application for Degree or Certificate is to be filed with the Registrar’s Office no later than October 1st for Fall graduates and February 1st for Spring graduates.
  • Graduation Fee: $70.00
