The Interdisciplinary Journal on Biblical Authority (IJOBA) exists to provide a platform for Christian thinkers to articulate the biblical worldview concerning issues in their chosen discipline as well as to evaluate trends and topics within that discipline using the biblical worldview. Its articles and reviews are intended to encourage Christian thinkers in their chosen fields to remain faithful to Christ and the biblical worldview.

Call for Articles

This is a call for articles for the Interdisciplinary Journal on Biblical Authority (IJOBA).

IJOBA exists to provide a platform for Christian thinkers to articulate the biblical worldview concerning issues in their chosen discipline as well as to evaluate trends and topics within that discipline using the biblical worldview. Its articles and reviews are intended to encourage Christian thinkers in their chosen fields to remain faithful to Christ and the biblical worldview.

Authors are expected to follow The Chicago Manual of Style and A Manual for Writers (by Kate L. Turabian) as to style.

Article Submission Guidelines

To submit an article for consideration by IJOBA, follow the guidelines below and include your curriculum vitae. Please send your proposal via email to the address below. The Managing Editor will acknowledge receipt and direct the proposal to the General Editor, who will review your proposal within 2-4 weeks of receipt. If you prefer to mail the proposal, please send it to the address at the top of these guidelines to the attention of the Proposal Submission Department.

  1. The Interdisciplinary Journal on Biblical Authority accepts manuscripts submitted as Word document attachments sent to Dr. Dodds.
  2. Articles should be 20–30 double-spaced 8 1⁄2 by 11” pages, Times New Roman-12.
  3. The writing style must follow the Turabian style according to A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, 8th edition.
  4. Please include, at the beginning of the article, a short abstract of approximately 80 words.
