How did past ministry/professional experience lead to your position at Calvary: Having served in a variety of ministry roles (pastoral and military chaplain), I’ve always had a heart for effective ministry and for seeing believers identify and be equipped for serving Christ through spiritual gifts/blessings He has given them. Therefore, coming to Calvary was the fulfillment of a life-long vision of being where I could equip all kinds of people to serve Christ!
Ministry/Professional involvement outside of Calvary: Upon graduation from Seminary, I served in churches in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kansas as a solo pastor, senior pastor, and interim pastor. During two pastorates also served as a chaplain, Air Force Reserves; served active duty as a Chaplain with the Air Force. Total full-time ministry experience: 24 years. Since coming to Calvary, I’ve served as a bi-vocational pastor.
