God has used the Elementary Education Program to supply qualified teachers for schools all over the world. Calvary alumni can be found teaching elementary school in public and private, mission and international schools, as well as serving as home school educators. Some have become principals and administrators, while still others teach in church-related ministries. Many have pursued advanced degrees and continue to contribute to the field of education in their spheres of influence.

Program Goals

The goal of the Elementary Education Program is to prepare highly effective teacher candidates who are capable of meeting the diverse learning needs of students in the 21st century classroom.

Elementary teacher candidates will learn how to:

  • Teach from a biblical worldview
  • Prepare for 21st century learning environments
  • Develop hands-on instructional activities through tutoring and field experience
  • Experience a world of diversity through Christian ministries and field placements
