Favorite aspect of teaching at Calvary: My favorite aspect of teaching at Calvary is being able to attend Chapel on a regular basis.
Favorite class to teach: I have enjoyed all of the classes I have taught at Calvary University. However, my favorite class to teach is Exceptional Learners. Throughout my years in the field of education, God has given me the privilege of working with a wide variety of exceptional learners. I enjoy discovering their strengths and using their strengths to assist them in accessing curriculum and relationships.

How did past ministry/professional experience lead to your position at Calvary: When we look back over our life, we can often see how God has led us and prepared us for the place we are today. As I look back over my life, I believe God prepared me for my present position at Calvary by: 1) leading me to be a teacher, special education teacher, special education coordinator, and principal, 2) leading me to work in Christian, public, and international schools in America, South Korea, and Hong Kong, 3) leading me to work in schools using American, Australian, British, Canadian, Christian, and International Baccalaureate curriculum, 4) leading my husband and I to be involved in Awana Clubs as well as bi-lingual church ministries, and 5) leading my husband and I to become more fully aware of His ongoing work through travel to many different countries. Through this wealth of experiences, God has prepared me to join a missions-minded university intent on training current and future educators to serve God around the world.
Ministry/Professional involvement outside of Calvary: God has provided my husband and I with the wonderful opportunity to support the families at Lawrence Chinese Evangelical Church by ministering to their teenagers. We meet on Friday nights and Sunday mornings to worship God and learn how “to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him; bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” Colossians 1:10
