HOW MUCH DOES THE 5-Year BS & MSOD PROGRAM COST?

Students who complete the accelerated degree option according to the schedule recommended by an academic advisor are eligible for financial aid as an undergraduate student for the first 3 years and then as a graduate student the final 2 years. The tuition & fees costs for the accelerated degree option vary from undergraduate to graduate status, but if completed as scheduled, the total tuition & fees cost for the entire degrees will be approximately $ 66,000 (per 2023-2024 school year on-campus costs for tuition and standard fees per cycle). Please see the Finances section of the website – https://www.calvary.edu/tuition-room-board-fees/ and https://www.calvary.edu/grad-tuition/and for a listing of projected costs related to the total cost of attendance (i.e., housing, meal plan, books and venue in which courses are taken: in-class or online).

WILL I BE ABLE TO WORK CLOSELY WITH AN ACADEMIC ADVISOR?

Yes, an advisor will be assigned to you to assist you every step of the way during your schooling.

WHAT IF THE ACCELERATED DEGREE OPTION BECOMES TOO DIFFICULT AND A STUDENT NEEDS TO WITHDRAW?

You will get assistance and support from faculty to see what steps can be taken to sustain enrollment in the accelerated degree option.  Should you still need to withdraw from the accelerated degree option, the Program Director will notify advising. Advising will then assist you with planner adjustments.

WHY IS A MENTOR RECOMMENDED?

Leaders learn through direct experience and the advice of others. While leadership coaches are helpful with tactical advice, mentors provide role models and guidance that future leaders can aspire to emulate. Mentorship, in short, builds leadership skills.

IS ONLINE LEARNING AN OPTION?

WHAT OPTIONS DO STUDENTS HAVE IF THEY DO NOT GET ACCEPTED INTO THE 5-YEAR ACCELERATED DEGREE OPTION?

Students not admitted to the 5-Year BS in Business Administration and MS in Organization Development degree option are encouraged to consider completing Calvary University’s BS in Business Administration or another of Calvary’s excellent undergraduate degrees. Students completing a traditional bachelor’s degree would then have the option to enroll in the MSOD program, finishing both degrees in as little as 6.5 years.

CAN STUDENTS ENTER THE PROGRAM EVEN IF THEY DON’T MEET THE MINIMUM HIGH SCHOOL STANDARDS FOR ENTRY?

Yes. Students who do not meet the minimum standards for entry into the Program may still be admitted after completing the equivalent of one year of undergraduate study. CAN THIS PROGRAM BE COMPLETED ONLINE?

Definitely. One class, Practicum, is a hands-on, supervised working experience. All paperwork and assignments can be turned in online; however, the actual work will take place in a work setting near the student’s location that the Business Administration Department Chair agrees to.

DO PROGRAM STUDENTS NEED TO FINISH THE BS DEGREE COURSE WORK BEFORE THEY CAN COMPLETE THE MSOD DEGREE COURSE WORK?

No. In many semesters, students will be taking undergraduate and graduate courses at the same time. Normally the first year of the Program will be occupied with undergraduate courses, but beginning with the 2nd year of the Program and under the guidance of the Academic Advisor, graduate courses will be taken along with undergraduate courses. In the 5th year of the program only graduate courses will be taken.
