Title: Librarian, Department Chair of General Studies, Professor of General Studies
Started at Calvary: 2015
Professional Information: B.A. (English and Spanish), Rockhurst University, 2011; M.L.I.S. (Reference Services), Wayne State University, 2014.
Favorite aspect of teaching at Calvary: I enjoy connecting students to resources, particularly through information literacy sessions.
Favorite class to teach: I teach COM110 Written Research Practicum. My favorite part of the class is introducing students to the resources the library provides.
How did past ministry/professional experience lead to your position at Calvary: When I was a freshman in college, the librarians showed me how to utilize electronic databases. I was so excited to learn how to navigate the peer-reviewed resources and find the information I needed for my research. I worked in public libraries for nine years before God opened the door here at Calvary.
