Dr. Haekyung An serves as Senior Advisor for Arts and Education at Calvary University.
She served as a music professor at Calvary University for 15 years, including five years as Chair of the Music Department.
Dr. An holds a Bachelor and Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music in Opera and Musical Theater from Southern Illinois University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. She has performed as an opera singer and soloist with organizations including the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Marjorie Lawrence Opera Theatre, Union Avenue Opera Theater, Bay View Music Festival, the Southern Illinois Symphony, and the Kansas Civic Orchestra. She is a co-founder and Director of Project Musica.
