Ministry/Professional involvement outside of Calvary: Adjunct professor at Rockhurst University (2005-2009); guest artist with Marjorie Lawrence Opera, Union Avenue Opera Theater of St. Louis, The Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Kansas Civic Orchestra, Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Missouri State University Symphony, and Grand Chorus and California Lutheran University.

Dr. Haekyung An is the Department Chair of Music at Calvary University.  She is originally from Seoul, Korea.  Dr. An has both a Bachelor and Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music in Opera and Musical Theater from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  She has performed as an opera singer and soloist at venues such as the Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Marjorie Lawrence Opera Theatre, Union Avenue Opera Theater, Bay View Music Festival, the Southern Illinois Symphony, and Kansas Civic Orchestra. She is a co-founder/Director of Project Musica.
