- Counseling – Mental Health Counseling (MA):The MA counseling program meets the education requirements for state licensure as outlined in 20 CSR 2095-2, Chapter 2 and includes the following components: 60 graduate hours including courses in counseling theory, human growth and development, social and cultural diversity, helping relationships, group counseling, career development, appraisal, research methods, professional orientation, diagnosis, two internships, and a practicum. The counseling program is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Association of Biblical Higher Education but is not CACREP accredited.
