Welcome fellow alumni to the Homecoming 2022 page! We are thrilled to invite you to participate with us in this commemorative event. This year we are celebrating “90 years of Community”. In 1932, Walter Wilson and his friends launched this endeavor called Calvary University that today, 90 years later, has over 9,000 alumni spread across the globe in positions of influence throughout society. 

This year there are new and exciting opportunities for you to participate in this special Homecoming experience.  

On Thursday evening, Dr. Granados will host the annual President’s Dinner. Tickets this year are free but do require a reservation as a group of stewards has underwritten the cost of the meal. This provides the opportunity for those who come to be in prayer specifically about the mission of Calvary University and the opportunity to generously invest financially in supporting the Scholarship Fund for this year’s students. 

On Friday, there will be more exciting events including a time of panel discussions at 11 am where alumni are invited to be part of various panels geared towards an audience of current students. These panels will focus on mentoring current students and helping them see how their current studies relate to their post-student life by interacting with alumni who have gone before them. 

Friday evening there will be a worship event in the Liberty chapel hosted by you: the alumni! We invite you to come and participate in this free event of corporate worship. If you are a vocalist or instrumentalist that would like to participate in leading – let us know. We will be working to coordinate the details for the event through the coming days and weeks. 

Additional events are planned throughout the weekend, and we invite you to participate in any and all of them! 

Our final event will be the second annual Alumni Meeting and Brunch on Saturday morning at 10 am in the Student Life Center. We invite you to come and participate in receiving a report both about Calvary University and about developments within the Alumni Association leadership. 

We are so thrilled to plan this event thinking back over the “90 years of community” we have already experienced as we look forward to the next 90 years! Come and join us in the fun as we celebrate what God has done, is doing, and will continue to do in our midst!
