Worship Leader – Part-Time

Position Overview:

First Baptist Church of Stilwell is seeking a dedicated and spiritually grounded Worship Leader to help guide our congregation into meaningful, Christ-centered worship. This individual must have a strong relationship with God and a passion for leading others in worship through music.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the congregation in worship during Sunday morning services.
• Play the piano and sing, while leading the worship team.
• Coordinate weekly with the Teaching Pastor to select music that complements the sermon theme.
• Lead and rehearse with the worship team as needed. P
• Provide music for special services when available (e.g., Christmas Eve, Good Friday, funerals, weddings).

Time Commitment & Compensation:

• Approximately 5 hours per week.
• $200 per week for regular responsibilities.
• Additional $50 per special service or event (e.g., weddings, funerals, holiday services).

Qualifications:

• A growing and evident relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Ability to sing and play the piano confidently.
• Experience leading worship and working with a worship team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Desired (but not required) Skills:

• Familiarity with worship presentation software (e.g., ProPresenter). Note: Training will be provided if needed.
