Calvary’s basketball teams are enjoying a stretch of home games. For the men’s team that home court advantage has resulted in three straight conference wins. On January 18, they defeated Faith Baptist Bible College, and then the next day brought another victory over Emmaus Bible College. Ozark Christian College travelled to the Pyramid Athletic Center (Calvary’s gym) on January 22, and the Warriors won by the score of 80-74.
The team has two remaining regular season home games and three road games. Calvary will then be hosting the Midwest Christian College Conference Tournament on February 14-16.
Halfway through the 2018-2019 season, our Lady Warriors basketball team has a 9-1 record! Their only loss so far was in their first game back in early November. Coach Tressa Shoemaker has a very young team filled with only freshmen and sophomores. However, their lack of college experience has not been a problem! The players work hard and play well as a team. This week the Lady Warriors defeated Manhattan Christian College, something that hasn’t been accomplished for many years. Both the women’s and men’s teams are in the midst of a stretch of home games this month. Join us at the Pyramid Athletic Center to cheer on this fantastic team!
The Calvary Warriors basketball teams spent almost all of January playing road games. Now they get to play their final regular season games at home! On Tuesday, February 6, both teams play host to Central Christian College of the Bible. Then the final home games of the season will be on February 9 versus Barclay College.

The Lady Warriors will try to defeat CCCB after losing a close game to the Saints back in December. They will look for a similar result against Barclay after leaving Haviland with a win on January 26.
Isaiah Miller scores for the Warriors.
The men’s team lost a close game to Manhattan Christian on Tuesday and will look to get back in the win column after having the weekend off from game action. Injuries have plagued the Warriors this season as two players tore anterior cruciate ligaments.
Don’t miss your last chances to come to the Pyramid Athletic Center to cheer on the teams!
The 2017 Lady Warriors volleyball team currently has a record of 5-1 (1-0 MCCC). As you can see, they are off to a strong start! The women are led by first-year head coach Ashley Spicer and seniors Paige Specht, Tasha Krahn, Alyssa Splitter, and C.J. Lewallen. They played their first conference match of the season on Tuesday evening at Ozark Christian College and came away with the victory in four sets. Today they travel to take on Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas, and will return home to face Manhattan Christian on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. I would encourage you to head out to the Pyramid Athletic Center (our gym) to cheer for the Lady Warriors. They are a fun team to watch!
