Paraeducator

Refine KC is seeking a Paraeducator to join us for the 2024-2025 school year.

Purpose
The Paraeducator will assist faculty with school/classroom tasks, help students individually and in small groups meet designated learning objectives, and supervise students.

Essential Functions
Help with the learning goals of students, especially those ages 5-11, in the areas of reading, writing, and math.
Follow directions of lead teachers to meet the learning objectives of individual students.
Complete general tasks such as making copies, laminating, etc.
Clearly articulate student learning needs back to the lead teachers.
Assist with lunch and recess supervision including general care of the lunch area.
Take part in faculty meetings as needed.
Perform additional tasks as needed for the school.

Qualifications/Requirements
Christian who attends church, has a good understanding of God’s Word, and seeks to strengthen his/her relationship with God.
Adhere to the statement of faith and core values of the school.
Advocate for and has a positive attitude for the mission of the school.
Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
Exhibit patience, attention to detail, and time management skills.
Demonstrate professionalism by being punctual and confidential to school matters.
Able to be flexible and multi-task.
Has a strong work ethic.
Able to work independently and as a part of a team.

Approximate hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
