JOB TITLE: Information Technology Associate (IT Associate)

JOB DESCRIPTION: The IT Associate assists the Media Director with the implementation of IT needs of the Lenexa Baptist Church and campus family.  The IT Associate coordinates computer hardware and software as well as network and server maintenance as assigned by the Media Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Build and deploy computers for staff as assigned.

·         Maintain servers, switches, and firewalls.

·         Manage phone systems across all campuses

·         Manage backups, anti-virus, and malware

·         Maintain physical hardware and wireless networks.

·         Provide computer support for staff as needed.

·         Work with local IT vendors for additional support as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree in IT related field or 3 years of equivalent work/volunteer experience required.
Advanced computer skills required.
Thorough knowledge of networking equipment required.
Requires commitment to biblical Christian principles and teachings both professionally and personally.
Requires passing criminal, financial and sexual misconduct background checks.
Experience in desktop and laptops management systems desired.
Experience with software and hardware deployments.
JOB CLASSIFICATION:

·         This position is an exempt (salaried) full-time position.  The expectation for this position is an average of 40 hours per week

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

·         The IT Associate reports to the Media Director.

·         The IT Associate works with other Media staff and volunteers.

DIMENSIONS:

·         This position impacts or influences Worship, Media, Church Office, Facilities, etc.
