The main responsibility of the Media Administrative Assistant is to work closely with all staff and members to provide necessary support and organization to the office and all media of First Baptist Peculiar.
Media Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
· Serve as a point of contact for all people who enter or call the office
· Maintain the church email account
· Assist Pastoral staff with any administrative needs they may have
· Attend all staff meetings
· Maintain consistent posting and style for all social medias
· Maintain the church website
· Assist in the creation of media for the church
· Other duties as assigned
Media Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
· Member, or willing to become a member, of First Baptist Church Peculiar
· Friendly and welcoming disposition
· Understanding of social media engagement
· Understanding and skill with website design
· Skilled in graphic design
· Flexibility
· Upstanding Christian character
Compensation and oversight:
· The Media Administrative Assistant will be compensated at a rate of $18 per hour and will be asked to average 20 hours a week. The Media Administrative Assistant will be asked to work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and half days on Friday.
· The Media Administrative Assistant will have be under the supervision of all Pastoral staff and the personnel committee.
