PT Administrative Assistant

Fellowship Olathe Church is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our staff. This person will work in-office Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for a total of 28 hours per week. Pay will range from $16-18 per hour dependent upon experience/education, and the benefits include paid time off and paid holidays. Qualifications – Profess the Christian faith; be an active follower of Jesus Christ – Currently be, or become, a member of Fellowship Olathe Church – 1+ years of administrative experience preferred – Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Willingness to learn our F1 Go Database – Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook – Ability to handle confidential information wisely – Multi-tasking and time-management skills – The ability to pass a background check Job Duties – Greet in-person visitors – Answer the main phone line – Be the liaison to vendors, suppliers, and service providers – Maintain office files (vendor, operations, general) – Run errands for church purposes – Manage office inventory and order supplies – Prepare office correspondence and meeting agendas – Write and execute church-wide correspondence via email, text, and print – Update church member profiles and group assignments in F1 Go database – Run reports for attendance, membership, and giving in F1 Go database – Create event forms in F1 Go database – Complete payment request forms – Prepare weekly accounting paperwork for pick up – Reconcile and enter credit card transactions – Compile and distribute year-end giving statements – Perform other duties as assigned Please send your resume & cover letter to Beth Baum at [email protected] to apply.
