Objective
To provide leadership and oversight for the Christian Life Program (CLP), its staff and its program participants by assuring adherence to the goals and objectives of the Mission in the provision of an evidence-based discipleship recovery program, assessing program outcomes, supervising and training program staff, and contributing to program delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities
·   Function as a positive contributing staff member of City Union Mission by engaging in timely communication, active participation in meetings, strategic planning, data management, supplying accurate reports, and problem solving to ensure unity with the purpose and goals of the Mission.

·   Lead and encourage staff in order to fulfill their calling and job description, and provide effective guidance in conflict resolution, mediation, instruction and training, and performance evaluations.

·   Establish regularly-scheduled individual and group staff meetings, work in coordination with the Clinical Director to participate in clinical staff management, and participate on the MTLP Resident Manager oversight team (if appropriate for location).

·   Oversee program budget and expenditures, be involved in the interview process and training of new hires, and participate in the processes for personnel development, probation, dismissal or resignation.

·   Provide scheduling for CLP staff coverage, teaching rotations, and class offerings. Work in coordination with Harbor Program and Clinical Director to establish and facilitate program outcomes, participant progress and advancement standards, curriculum development, instructional training and oversight, policy and procedure revisions, and program evaluation and strategic planning.

·   Be an active provider in program facilitation as scheduled and needed to accomplish program objectives.

·   Provide guidance to CLP staff in policy and procedure fulfillment.

·   Direct the participant consequence and growth contract process and administer substance tests as needed.

·   Coordinate with Harbor program staff to create a yearly activities calendar for CLP participants, working with appropriate Directors to assess calendar and facility feasibility.

·   Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed by Harbor Program Director.

·   Oversee the Harbor Christian Life Center (CLC) facility and work in direct coordination of the Director of Harbor Operations and Director of Harbor Programs to maintain the CLC.

·   Participate in continuing educational opportunities as requested or desired.

·   Seek to exemplify Jesus Christ daily and be prepared to share the gospel as opportunities arise.

·   Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
·   Be a born-again, mature Christian.  Able to clearly communicate the gospel as opportunities during the work day arise (1 Pet. 2:21, 3:15).

·   Able to lead others in spiritual maturity and demonstrate the attributes of a Christian role model with clients, staff, and the community at large (1Timothy 4:12; Joshua 24:15).

·   Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy in Google, Microsoft applications, and information management systems.

·   Required: Bachelor’s degree in ministry, behavioral health, or related field from a regionally accredited school, and 4+ years’ experience in program administration or development.

Preferred: Master’s degree in ministry, behavioral health, or related field from a regionally accredited school, and 3+ years’ experience as in program administration/leadership in a faith-based behavioral health, addiction recovery, and/or sex offender treatment program
