Job Description: Berean Baptist Church of Pickerington, Ohio (www.bereanbaptistchurch.com) is seeking a Pastoral Intern with an emphasis on music and worship to perform the following duties… Works closely with and reports to the Pastor. Attends all worship services and gatherings of the church unless there is an emergency or pre-arranged schedule adjustment. Provides musical accompaniments, plans, and leads worship as directed by the Pastor. Teaches Adult Sunday School and preaches in worship services as needed and directed by the Pastor. Performs various administrative tasks as directed by the Pastor.
Pay and benefits will be dependent upon candidate’s experience, circumstances, and terms and conditions of service, which will be determined in the candidating process and prior to hiring.
Candidates must meet the following requirements…
Deacon qualified and pursuing the pastoral qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9.
Proficient in Piano, familiar with playing traditional and contemporary hymns, and able to plan and lead worship.
Able to teach Adult Sunday School, preach in worship services, and provide emergency or back-up pulpit supply.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to perform various administrative tasks related to local church ministry.
