Favorite aspect of teaching at Calvary: Helping students know God better, so when they leave others can know God better based on their influence.
Favorite class to teach: New Testament Survey. A proper understanding of Old Testament Survey is necessary for a proper understanding of the NT, so you get the best of both worlds!
Originally from: Michigan
Favorite memory as a Calvary student: Other than graduation… In Greek II learning that you don’t have to come up with an outline for a (NT) passage; with diligent study, you can identify the natural outline of the text.
How did past ministry/professional experience lead to your position at Calvary: Seven years in operational management for a multi-faceted church and school ministry was a great foundation for a staff position at Calvary. After several years at Calvary, I transitioned into the classroom.
Ministry/Professional involvement outside of Calvary: I currently serve as a US Army Reserve Chaplain with the 244th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade. Prior to becoming Director of the Calvary University Innovation Center in Colorado, I served as a pastoral elder at Liberty Hills Bible Church in Liberty, MO.
