How did past ministry/professional experience lead to your position at Calvary: I have experience working with a variety of worship styles, music genres, and people in a worship setting. I studied at Calvary University and have a B.Mus. in Worship Arts and a M.S. in Worship Arts. As a graduate assistant, I had the opportunity to teach and administrate a traveling worship team that specialized in ministering to regional churches and schools.
Ministry/Professional involvement outside of Calvary: I am a full-time employee in Calvary’s Development department. I am a freelance accompanist, often accompanying for classically-trained vocalists, choirs, and musical theatre. I also operate as a local gigging musician in Kansas City, often hired to play in a variety of genres and styles (contemporary worship, high church liturgy, 60’s-90’s cover bands, recording sessions, rock groups, and indie groups).
