Graduation Events Postponed

Calvary University looks forward to our Graduation weekend with much anticipation every year. It is a time to fellowship with each of our students and celebrate what God has accomplished through their lives in their studies here at Calvary.

In light of recent guidance from the CDC and government authorities in limiting the size of gatherings, we have determined that it is most appropriate to postpone our Graduation events until June 26 – 27.

COVID-19 and the public response has created a very fluid situation, and we want to exercise the utmost caution and consideration for everyone.

Let’s all be prayerful and vigilant as we navigate these challenging times together, with confidence that God is truly in control.

Graduation Activities Fast Approaching!

Graduation Activities Fast Approaching!

Thursday, May 9, Friday, May 10, & Saturday, May 11 are exciting days for the students at Calvary University! It is especially exciting for those who are finishing their coursework and will be receiving their diplomas after years of hard work. Calvary will be recognizing 62 graduates this year; 5 will be receiving their Associates degrees, 35 will be receiving Bachelor’s degrees, and 22 their Master’s degrees.

The first activity for our graduates will be the Awards chapel on Thursday, May 9, at 11:00 a.m. in Liberty Chapel. Our students will be honored for various Department Awards, both Academic and Non-Academic, and recognized for their Academic achievements with Honors, High Honors, or Highest Honors. Following the Awards chapel will be an Alumni Induction Luncheon for the graduates and their families.

On Friday, May 10, at 11:00 a.m. in Liberty Chapel will be Calvary’s Baccalaureate service. Mr. Kevin Stone, father of graduate, Christy Stone, will be bringing the message during this service.

The capstone of the weekend, our 2019 Commencement Service, comes on Saturday morning May 11, when our graduates will be receiving their diplomas. The Commencement message will be brought by Pastor Adrion Roberson, co-pastor of Berean Fellowship Church and Program Chair for Youth Leadership Edge both in Kansas City, KS. Pastor Roberson is also one of the favorite chapel speakers at Calvary each year. Commencement Services are held at Graceway, which is located at 5460 Blue Ridge Cut-off, Kansas City, MO.

This is always an exciting time of year, so please make plans to attend one or more of these events and help us honor the 2019 graduates of Calvary University!
