Website Administrator


This is a full-time position with full benefits.

Position Summary:

In support of the mission of Calvary Bible College, the Website Administrator designs, maintains and coordinates all aspects of the website with a high degree of professional excellence, accuracy and timeliness in order to present an accurate, attractive and engaging digital media presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and participates in all aspects of the utilization and maintenance of the Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary websites including design, writing, editing, and content generation/management
  • Builds and maintains a dynamic social media presence for Calvary (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Communicates and coordinates with outside vendors related to graphic arts and website management
  • Works closely with other departments in the publication process
  • Assists in capturing and editing still and video images
  • Develops a publications calendar to ensure all aspects of the website are current and coordinated with other promotional activities, and necessary information is presented in a timely manner
  • Builds, edits and maintains online forms for registrations, payments, etc. and integrates them into various processing systems
  • Serves on committee(s) as assigned

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Born-again believer and living a dedicated, separated life
  • In agreement with Calvary’s doctrinal position
  • Adequate life/work experience resulting in maturity of person
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational skills, with strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Artistically creative and skilled in graphic design 
  • Skilled in working and communicating with others, yet able to work well independently
  • Demonstrated concern for presenting Calvary with excellence
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft office
  • Documentable education and/or professional experience in the following: Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Django Content Management System and the development and implementation of strategies for search engine marketing and optimization
  • Ability to write and edit HTML, PHP, CSS, SQL and CSV files
  • Expert knowledge of social media outlets and demonstrated ability to grow a social media presence
  • Able to type at least 40 wpm
  • Able to climb stairs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in media communications or related field 
  • Knowledge of Python programming language
  • 2 years experience as a webmaster for an institution of higher education
  • Employment experience in video and sound editing
  • Personal experience as part of the Calvary community (student or employee or alum)
