The Learning Center

The Learning Center is on the second floor of the Education Building in Room 211.

Hours of operation:

Monday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Tuesday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., by appointment 5-6 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Thursday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday: 9-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.

Calvary offers students free tutoring services in The Learning Center. Disciplines include:

• Study Skills Assessment – evaluation of skills, learning style profiling, note taking, test preparation, test taking and memory techniques.
• Time Management – evaluation, scheduling and stress management.
• Reading – comprehension, phonics, spelling, speed reading, and ESL.
• Writing – grammar usage; plus researching, composing, and editing papers.
• Math and Sciences
• Biblical Languages – Greek and Hebrew tutoring is available by appointment.

Other services include exam proctoring and learning style accommodations.
