Favorite aspect of teaching at Calvary: The size of the school provides opportunities to work closely with other faculty members and to know a large part of the student body. Calvary's location encourages contact with urban, suburban, and rural communities. That is a great asset!

Favorite class to teach: Senior Seminar in Education - We bring together all the course content into a professional package ready to send out to the classroom.

Professional Organization(s): Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (MACTE), Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), North American Professors of Christian Education (NPCE)

Originally from: West Central Illinois

Favorite memory as a Calvary student: Completing my seminary degree with modular classes and Greek with Dr. Nelson.

How did past ministry/professional experience lead to your position at Calvary: After an extended career teaching in public and private schools and studying Bible, theology, and education at Calvary Theological Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary, God opened the door for me to teach here at Calvary.

Ministry/Professional involvement outside of Calvary: I have been active in the local church teaching and ministering to women. I've been involved with organizations serving women facing crisis in their lives as well as speaking at retreats.
