Grammatical Analysis
Description
This course studies the structure of the English language reviewing the parts of speech and analyzing how to combine them into grammatically correct phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, and entire compositions. Emphasis is placed on accuracy in grammar, spelling, and punctuation, as well as on the student's application of basic principles in written composition. A five-page essay is required.
