For Immediate Release:

Kansas City, Mo. – The Calvary Warriors men's basketball team won 80-69 to St. Louis Christian College on the road Tuesday, January 31.

"Overall, I am of mixed feelings. I am happy that we won and happy with certain things we did, but overall I'd have to say I'm disappointed in the way we played," said men's basketball coach, John Krchmar. "We didn't come out with a spark. We had a lack of energy and came out really flat. We should of played better."

Krchmar said it would have been a better game if the Warriors had shot better free throws.

"We missed 9-of-17, below 50 percent," he said.

Junior guard Ryan Hill from Kansas City led the Warriors with 22 points. Larry Taylor, sophomore guard from Baton Rouge, La., followed with 15 points.

Calvary (6-8) will play Barclay College on Friday, February 3, at home. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
