Kansas City, Mo. – The Calvary Warriors men's basketball team won 75-59 to Nebraska Christian College of Papillion, Neb. on Friday, Jan. 20.

Warriors coach John Krchmar credits good defense to the victory.

The Warriors had a one-point lead over Nebraska Christian going into the second half at 30-29.

"Tonight, I feel really good about the game," said Krchmar. "We played really well on defense and we held the team under 60 points and that's good for us. We shot free throws really well, shooting 13-for-15."

Junior guard Ryan Hill from Kansas City, Mo. led the Warriors with 27 points and two assists. Sophomore Justin Veals from Baton Rouge, La., followed with 19 points and eight rebounds.  

Calvary (3-8) will play Saint Louis Christian College on Saturday, Jan. 21, at home. Tipoff is at 4 p.m.
