CALVARY BIBLE COLLEGE vs. UNION COLLEGE
KANSAS CITY MO - February 05, 2013 - The Warriors lost 96-70 to Union College to finish their road trip 0-3. The Warriors started strong out of the gate, something that has eluded the Warriors for much of the season, and trailed only by 6 at halftime. The Warriors struggled with defense in this game and turnovers were a major factor in the loss.
Karlin Wiebe excelled in this game scoring 28 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. Eric Daniels and Greg Harvey both had 12 points. Harvey also had 9 assists and 5 rebounds. Carter had 11 rebounds. The Warriors certainly rued their missed chances at the free-throw line as they shot only 42% from the line.
The Warriors outrebounded Union and improved on their ball movement garnering 18 team assists. The Warriors still need to protect the ball better as they squandered possession 22 times.
Things are looking up, though, as the Warriors are continuing to work on their weaknesses. The Warriors are now 4-12 overall. Their next game is back home against Nebraska Christian College on February 8 at 6 p.m.
