1. Learn about Calvary

Biblical education and Christian service

You will learn not only how to minister to others but also how to function effectively in the workplace. Practical, hands-on training in your courses will give you confidence in your work and a means of discovering your career interests. Constructive input from your professors will equip you with the skills you need to grow in your abilities

Christian character development

Christ never spoke of what we must do for employment, but of what we should be. Calvary's emphasis on Christian character will help you develop a scripturally healthy lifestyle and give you wisdom in choosing the vocation God desires for you.

Doctrinal understanding

Our reliable position on the fundamentals of the faith will give you confidence that your education will be based on sound doctrinal tenets of faith taught with conviction and love by a dedicated, qualified faculty.

Ministry-focused

Our objective is to serve the Lord. Since the Lord leads many of our alumni to missions, pastorates, and other areas of ministry, you will be challenged and motivated by the number of opportunities for service while you study at Calvary.

Reasonable cost

The cost of tuition, board, and room is competitive with any college of comparable size in the Midwest. Financial aid is available to help arrange the best financing obtainable for you.

Location

Kansas City, Missouri, is centrally located in the Midwest. You will be within a day's drive of Chicago, St. Louis, Little Rock, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Dallas, Omaha, Denver, and Des Moines. You will be close to a large number of job opportunities. In fact, there are many employers who prefer to hire Calvary students because of their known reliability and initiative.

Suburban campus

God has provided Calvary a sprawling, growing campus on a former U.S. Air Force base near the Kansas City suburb of Belton, Missouri. On the campus, you will enjoy well-maintained dormitory facilities, classrooms, gymnasium, recreational opportunities, a student lounge with games, and “The Point” Café. The campus is also less than five minutes from restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and health care facilities.

Qualified faculty

Calvary faculty are trained in their fields of expertise and also experienced in areas of performance and ministry. They live what they teach, and you’ll find them available and concerned for your well-being and development.
