KANSAS CITY, MO - Coming off another loss against Grace University on January 28, the Calvary Warriors looked to put another game in the win column against Central Christian College of the Bible. The Warriors played what Forward Kevin Jean-Paul called their “best defensive effort of the season.” The Warriors and Saints traded baskets throughout the first half with the Saints taking a small lead into halftime. Senior Forward Eric Daniels returned to the lineup for the Warriors, but it was not enough as the Saints pulled away in the second half, ultimately coming away with a 64-48 victory. The Warriors were led by Eric Daniels in his return to action, as he scored 10 points and added in 3 assists. Miles Valentino struggled shooting the basketball on the night, finishing with only 8 points. Cody Sanning also struggled shooting the ball as he finished with 9 points, but he did add 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The return of Eric Daniels brings back much needed leadership to the court for the Warriors, who returns to game action against the Barclay Bears in Haviland, KS, on February 7.
